This artifact is a frozen ritual of liberation. Within a perfect optical dome lies the remains of real wax candles that burned until the wax melted in heavy drops and the wicks became charred. Alongside them are ladybugs, found dead in nature, and steel nails piercing through the space.

I created this piece as an altar to the memory of burned hopes that have transformed into unyielding strength. The wax symbolizes the pliability expected of us, but the charred wick and nails declare that our internal fire cannot be extinguished. It is a manifesto of rebellion and a symbol of reclaiming one's magic.
